Equinoxes and Solstices are astronomical events that mark the cycle of the sun throughout the year, indicating change between the four seasons. Observing and celebrating these events connects us to our own inner cycles and creates an opportunity for reflection, enlightenment, and awakening.
Join us to welcome the summer energy with some rejuvenating yoga, beautiful gong vibrations and the therapeutic sounds of crystal bowls and mantra.
On the night of the actual Summer Solstice, this event is a wonderful opportunity uplift your consciousness, balance your energy, and reset yourself. This nurturing evening begins with gentle stretching and movement (all beginner level), breathing, and meditation to allow the nervous system to prepare for the sound vibrations. Then enjoy an extended relaxation (at least 40 minutes long) while experiencing the powerful healing sounds of three gongs, crystal bowls, chimes, and a guided meditation.
We will end the session with a live stream of the sunset at Stonehenge, while we enjoy a warm summer tea.
Mantras are specifically chanted to generate sounds to promote insight, creativity and spiritual growth.
The sound of the gong creates deep relaxation, releases us from the torrent of thoughts of our mind and stimulates our glandular system to a higher frequency of functioning.
Doors open at 7:15. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to get set up. Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring a mat, blanket and pillow as a minimum plus anything else that might help you get comfortable.
We hope that you will enjoy good health leading up to this event but if on the day of the sound bath you experience any of the following symptoms, we ask that you contact us and cancel your booking:- a new continuous cough; a high temperature; or a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?
***Please also note the following***
If you are first trimester pregnant, have new surgical implants, pacemaker/defibrillator installed, if you suffer from severe or clinical mental health issues or have epilepsy, triggered by sound, this event is NOT suitable and you will NOT be able to attend
