09 Sep September’s Full Moon Sound Bath to support cleansing and release ahead of the new season
Each full moon gives us the opportunity to consider how we might learn or improve an aspect of our lives.
This September full moon falls in the sign of Pisces, providing an opportunity for deep transformation.
As the last full moon before the Equinox, this gives us a chance to ‘harvest’ our recent endeavours before moving into the new season.
This requires reflection on what may have happened over the summer. Have you learned anything new about yourself or your life during this period? Are you still the same? What might have changed for you?
Harvest moons are always cleansing, supporting the release of anything you don’t want to take with you into the next season.
The Jupiter Neptune square will further illuminate the full moon to reveal truths or challenge our beliefs, confirming that there is still much that we don’t understand about life and the world, particularly now when it seems all belief systems and governance structures are breaking down.
Turning our attention to the two fish that represent Pisces reminds us about the need to strive for continuous balance in life to remain grounded, but also able to pursue higher levels of consciousness.
Combining physical practices such as hatha, yin and vinyasa, with reflective practices such as meditation and sound therapy help provide a balanced approach to wellbeing and transformation.
